learn to swim resumes

When do lessons begin?

All lessons will recommence the week beginning Monday 13 July 2020.

Who can come with me? I have multiple children to manage, can I bring someone else to help out?

At this stage spectators are not encouraged to attend. However, families with multiple children swimming are welcome to bring a second adult along, especially if you have children attending lessons in our infant program. We ask families to reduce unnecessary adult visitors where possible.

Will there be any changes to lesson structure and equipment used?

Yes, social distancing will be necessary between adults in any of our parent/child classes.  You will be guided by your teacher as to what is required.  There will be a limit on equipment/toys used in lessons until further notice.

What other restrictions or conditions will apply?

Non-swimmers who aren’t part of the same household will need to socially distance from other patrons. We’ll also need to record details of all attendees. If anyone other than the student and their nominated responsible person attends the centre then we’ll need to collect their details upon arrival.

Can I shower or change at the centre?

Showers and change rooms will be available in time for the start of term 3 lessons.

Can I use the baby change tables?

Yes. These will be available and cleaned on a regular basis.

Will crèche be open?

Yes. As always, bookings are required.

What happened to my lessons remaining from Term 1?

The last direct debit payment was paid up to the end of March.  The centre closed at midday Monday 23 March. A credit for your last lesson/s has been applied to your account.

When will the payment for lessons recommence?

The first payment for your direct debit will be processed on Friday 10 July.

Do you still accept cash?

Yes we do, but our preferred method is contactless.

Is Aquaplay still available on Monday?

Not at this stage.  We will monitor the situation and recommence it when we are able.

Stay & Play – are children still able to stay after their lessons for a play?

Yes, pending sufficient space in the pool being available.

Should we stay home if we are feeling unwell?

Yes, anyone who’s feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend the centre. Make-ups are always available so please contact the centre to notify us of absence and reschedule your lesson. Please also note that staff reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is suspected of being unwell or is showing symptoms of COVID-19 in order to protect the health and safety of all visitors and staff.

Will the café be open?

Yes, but initially just for a limited range of takeaway options.
